With more than seven years of hands-on experience planning tailor-made journeys throughout the region, our mission is simple: to create extraordinary travel experiences that leave lasting memories.
The founder’s path into tourism has been anything but ordinary. Originally qualifying and practising as a Veterinarian, a fascination with animals and conservation naturally developed into a deep appreciation for Africa’s incredible wildlife and ecosystems. Later transitioning into the medical profession as an Optometrist provided valuable experience and insight into healthcare, ultimately opening the door to the unique world of medical tourism.
This unusual combination of wildlife expertise, medical knowledge and genuine passion for travel allows Unscripted Africa Safaris and Tours to offer a truly distinctive and highly personalised service.
Founded and personally managed by Dr. Mark Horowitz, Unscripted Africa Safaris and Tours offers a uniquely hands-on approach to travel planning. Unlike larger travel companies, every itinerary is personally managed from your first enquiry until your departure home. We pride ourselves on offering attentive, honest and professional service, while working with carefully selected lodges, hotels, guides and tourism partners throughout Southern Africa.
